The JR for Cupertino City Council campaign is seeking progressive, dedicated, young interns—high school, college, and young professionals—to heavily assist in crucial digital, field, fundraising, and administrative work for the campaign. This campaign will be a transformative experience, working directly with the candidate, and will provide immersive, hands-on exposure coupled with a strong letter of recommendation for future endeavors.

This is an unpaid position that offers valuable connections and professional experience. The campaign will pay for food, drink, and resources as necessary. We will provide skills training and actively invest in your leadership development.

Interest in progressive politics and an interest in changing our community for the better.

Ability to volunteer for at least 5-10 hours per week. Flexibility of hours is completely possible, but we do ask for a minimum amount of time spent.

Willingness to learn new skills, political concepts, and tools to win progressive elections.

Commitment to do direct voter communication, including canvassing (going door-to-door), phone calling, and texting. Flexibility of how much of each can be arranged. Two voter outreach shifts (2 hours each) are highly encouraged.
